a little bit about me:
I'm Claire, a twenty- something year old who has a passion for creating and capturing life's greatest moments. I am seriously so happy that you have found yourself here and am crazy excited at the thought of possibly getting to work with you!
I am a grounded girl with a big heart and a free spirit. I'm a crazy cat mom, an introverted extrovert, a bleeding Taurus, and a hopeless romantic. I'm a sucker for sunsets, online shopping, good books, and anything pink. Cereal is quite literally my favorite food, Rachel Green is my spirit animal, and The Family Stone is my favorite movie, yes even in when it's not Christmas-time. I'm the most nostalgic and sentimental girl you will ever meet. I wear my heart on my sleeve and cry at anything that tears at my heart strings - it's safe to say my mascara runs more than I do. I cherish my people and relationships more than anything, and care deeply about the connection I make with you!
I am a Wisconsin girl, born and raised as a cheesehead, I'm lucky to call this state my home. I am a total homebody and my heart belongs in the Midwest, but traveling sets my soul on fire and I'm always down for an adventure. If your story is calling you to somewhere special, my bags will be packed and I will be en route before you can even change your mind.
I recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Madison and now have a full-time big girl job, but Photography is my love language. I am so honored to have been able to work with so many amazing people. It's a dream come true to be able to document others' stories and tell them through the art of photography.
where I get my inspiration:
My love for photography comes from something that was passed down by my grandma, and that's a deep appreciation for nostalgic and sentimental moments. She always had a camera in her hand and I now have hundreds of pictures from my childhood to show for it. My favorite thing was always going over to her house and looking at old photo albums of my grandparents when they were young. I love that I can look at those photos and get a glimpse into memories that aren't even mine. When the memories fade and the people pass on, what we have left are our photos. They are some of my favorite possessions.
I want to give you that same feeling that I get when I look at photographs, a feeling of overwhelming nostalgia and happiness. An appreciation that your story was captured, and it can be passed down forever. I want to serve you with stories of your own with photos that make you feel beautiful, loved and seen. Creating moments that make you feel something, moments that you will cherish forever, like photos have done for me.
There's nothing more special to me than creating images of your most special moments for you. Know that when I am given this privilege, it is truly the greatest honor. I pour my heart and soul into every couple, individual, and family that steps in front of my camera, your photos do not only mean a lot to you, but also to me.
